CUMMING, Ga. – North Georgia Brick, the leading masonry solution provider in the
Metropolitan Atlanta area, announced today that it has successfully completed the
acquisition of General Shale’s (formerly Meridian Brick) Atlanta Masonry Distribution
Business. With this acquisition, North Georgia Brick establishes itself as the largest
independent brick distributor in the United States.
The addition of the General Shale distribution business allows North Georgia Brick to
expand its already strong presence in the Atlanta market. North Georgia Brick is
considered to be at the forefront of innovative systems proven to support the nation’s
leading home builders and commercial contractors.
